Er spring chuck has the characteristics of high centering accuracy and uniform clamping force. It is widely used in finishing and semi finishing of mechanical parts, and is usually matched with BT toolholder
BT toolholder is the connecting part of mechanical spindle, cutting tool and other accessory tools. BT is a Japanese standard (mas403), which is also widely used now. Traditional toolholders include Er type, powerful type, side fixed type, plane milling cutter type, drill chuck, Morse taper shank, modern hydraulic toolholder, thermal expansion toolholder and PG (cold pressing) type. At present, the main standards are BT, SK, capto, BBT, HSK and other specifications of spindle models.
Most of the BT tool handles matched with ER spring chuck are 7:24 taper tool handles, and the corresponding type of pull pin tension structure is adopted to match with the machine tool spindle. Er spring collet matching BT handle has various specifications, commonly used are No. 30, No. 40 and No. 50. The specification of tool holder should be suitable for machine tool spindle and manipulator. Users can select the type and specification of toolholder according to the NC machining process of typical parts, which can meet the machining requirements without causing overstock. Considering that there are a certain number of toolholders in presetting or tool grinding while the CNC machine is working, the configuration number of toolholders is usually 2-3 times of that required.

"30, 40, 50" represents the taper section diameter of the toolholder. For example, BT50 refers to: the diameter of 100 mm, the tolerance is - 0.05 to 0; the trapezoidal groove bottom diameter is 85 mm; the trapezoidal groove top width is 15 mm, the tolerance is 0 to + 0.1; the trapezoidal groove angle is 30 degrees up and down, the tolerance is - 15 'to 0; the distance between the trapezoidal groove center and the spindle end face (the big end of the tool handle cone) is 23.2 mm, and the tolerance is plus or minus 0.1.

Er collet, commonly known as spring collet, is a kind of drill collet installed on the machine tool spindle. Its function is to lock the connection between the tool and the spindle.

Er spring chuck is widely used in various machining clamping fields, mainly used in drilling, milling, reaming, tapping and grinding. Because of its 16 slot design, it allows a larger clamping range and has excellent radial runout error. It is divided into er8, ER11, ER16, ER20, ER25, er32, ER40 and er50 specifications, which are applicable to all tool clamping.
