As an important "bridge" between machine tool and cutting tool, NC tool holder is related to machining accuracy, cutting tool life, machining efficiency and so on, and ultimately affects machining quality and cost. Due to different processing requirements, corresponding to different clamping methods of tool holder.

1.Handle
Working principle: the taper spring jacket gradually shrinks in the process of axial movement (locking) to realize the clamping of the cutting tool.
Scope of application: drill, reamer, finishing end mill, etc
Features: wide clamping range, good versatility and high precision.
2. Hydraulic tool holder
Working principle: use the hydraulic pressure to shrink the inner diameter of the toolholder to realize the clamping tool.
Scope of application: high precision machining of end mills, carbide drills, diamond reamers, etc.
Features: easy to operate, only need a T-type wrench to tighten, belongs to all toolholders, the clamping mode is simple; the precision is stable, completely waterproof and dustproof; the anti-interference performance is good.

3.Heat shrinkable handle
Working principle: using the difference of the thermal expansion coefficient between the handle and the cutting tool to realize the clamping of the cutting tool.
Scope of application: processing occasions with high interference conditions.
Features: good anti-interference; small clamping range, only one size of cutting tool can be clamped; good initial jumping accuracy (with the increase of heating times, it decreases rapidly); high precision of cutting tool can be clamped;

4、 Milling shank collet chuck
Working principle: the tool holder body is compressed by the nut to realize clamping.
Scope of application: heavy cutting of end mill.
Features: high rigidity, strong clamping force, which is the most powerful of all clamping toolholders;

5、 Side lock end mill holder
Working principle: just like its name, lock the cutting tool through the side fixing screw.
Scope of application: it is used for rough machining of drill bit, milling cutter, etc.
Features: simple structure, large clamping force; but the accuracy and versatility are general.
